Let's start with the basics, an every day alcohol free beer .

Ok, you have had a hard day at work or doing the gardening and you fancy a beer. You don't want a craft beer or a flowery IPA, you fancy a plain and simple cold beer or lager, enter Birra Moretti Zero.

First and last Impressions

When you first open the bottle you get a whiff of hops. It's reassuring :) .

As it pours its a nice light golden colour , lots of bubbles, watch out for the head (unless I'm just bad at pouring)

The first taste for me is a very light malty taste, quite fizzy on the tongue then leaves you with a slightly sweet after taste. It does have a mild bitterness, maybe sourness but it's pleasant and easy drinking. This beer has some strength and character and is enjoyable. I have asked my friends who drink the non AF version and they do say it has the flavour but not the bitter kick from alcohol but is very similar. I always have this in my fridge during summer ,for me it's a solid all rounder. I take it to BBQ's and gatherings as is easy to get hold of, it's one of a few brands that most big stores stock.

The Final Score

I have been drinking this for a couple of years now as my easy, go to cold refreshing beer.

I have tried quite a few of the common brands supermarkets stock of low and no alcohol offerings, for example Budweiser, Heineken, Stella, Corona and my old favourite DoomBar. I'm not going bother reviewing those as they are all horrid ! honestly horrid. if you want a simple cold beer this is the one.

To sum up, it's not complex, it's not fussy it's a nice cold beer when you want one.

I may feel like changing the score as I discover new beers but for now it's a solid
