First and Last Impressions

Good pour, very fizzy, large but quick head.

There is little aroma but what there is, is sweet and hoppy with a hint of smokyness.

It's very pale gold in colour.

First taste, is malty with a strong hops layer, no fruitiness and actually it's smoky almost a tobacco, end of the cigarette flavour (ex smoker I would know). It lacks body and I found quite watery. The finish is that bitter tobacco with burnt oats.

The Final Score

Well sadly I didn't really like it, I found that bitter smoky ashtray flavour too much for me and rather annoying. Shame as the underlaying lager taste was ok.
